Mountain Run #5 is a go!

Planning a Mountain cruise for Saturday, December 31st and everyone is welcomed to come along. Come for a nice drive to Cullowhee and back. We are leaving from Pickens, SC. I had a good buddy plot us a new route and we will be stopping for lunch at Tuck’s Tap & Grille in Cullowhee, NC, but feel free to suggest alternative places with good food that won’t kill us on the remaining half of the trip. If you are coming then please note if you have had any enthusiastic mountain driving experience.  

-Starting point at Holly Springs Country Store.

-From there the cruise will go up Highway 178 all the way to Rosman, NC area.

-Go west on HWY 64 until Kim Miller Road in Lake Toxaway, NC.

-Jump on 281 North until Tuckasegee, NC where will cut off onto 107 North to Cullowhee, NC for lunch.

-From there its back down going down 107 to Walnut Creek, NC.

-Then we are traveling from Walnut Creek, NC to Seneca, SC on 28.

I am still debating this. I made that route around a 10 mile stretch of road that I found in the middle of nowhere. Heck even tail of the dragon was on the route and this was way better. Might just have to go. That or build an engine for the Talon. Decisions decisions.
